About Kadan Martial Arts & Development Center
Kadan Martial Arts was established in 1992 by Roland and Aurora Ferrer. Kadan was originally know for its top level Taekwondo Athletes, ranking in Jr. & Sr. divisions in State, National, U.S. Team Trials and International Competitions. In time, raising their two sons at the studio, gave way to diversifying their programs.  They became inspired to help people of all ages and physical abilities enjoy the benefits of the Martial Arts. Kadan became known as a "family school" a place where children from four years old to adults could train and grow together. We strive to make our environment a nurturing and positive place for everyday people to face their fears, overcome their challenges and walk the road to Black Belt.

About I Love Shelter Dogs Blog and Pages
This was originally to be a recored of our family's new adventure by volunteering to foster a dog on death row from the shelter. We are not new to Shelter Dogs, as we adopted two beautiful girls from the Dover Shelter in San Bernardino, but we had never fostered a dog. So I thought I'd share my family's first foster experience in hopes that we can encourage others to find a way to help shelter animals. It's growing from sharing our story to including stories of other amazing shelter dogs, organizations helping shelter animals and helpful information on training, nutrition and health. I encourage you to share your positive shelter dog adoption stories on our Facebook or Google+ pages. I'm hoping that through our stories and pictures we can encourage more adoptions and one day end all reasons for our shelter animals to be PTS.
